We use these for our office voip phones, great sounding and well made for the price.
Keep in mind, I'm reviewing this product as a cell user and have never used it on my cordless land line. I am so pleased with this headset. It's clear as a bell on both ends, and it stays on my head unlike the ear buds. I bought this headset a couple months ago because I received a warning for talking on my cell while driving. Works great with a cell. I've never been able to find a headset that actually worked and stayed in my ear. (I live in NY, and it's illegal). I've probably spent over $100 on ear buds that don't work and fall out of my ear over the last few years.
Instead, I received them in a padded envelope (could easily have been crushed during shipping) and inside they were only in plastic bags. I guess the motto is true, you get what you pay for. I had purchased the same headset from Staples and I love it. I hope they are all in working order. If I had purchased them from a store like staples they would come in a box and could have probably given them with gift receipts. I bought 5 from Amazon and while it saved me money, I was surprised and disappointed in the packaging. I am giving them to sales people and would prefer being able to give them in a box.
Just FYI, I also bought a Panasonic KX-TCA86 Comfort-fit headset with travel fold design and found it to be a much better item overall. The hard part ends up right on top of my off-side ear so I have to move it further to the back of my head or above the ear and then the headphone side slips around. I guess I need to boost up my ego to make my head larger. Although it is made well I found the hearing to be poor and the folks on the other end said the mic was weak and not the best quality although legible. See my review there. The over-the-head band is too long. The inline volume control was a no-opp, it made no noticeable change in the volume when attached to my Razr phone.The only other complaint I have is the same for all headsets I use. This is a common failure with all headsets, they don't fit someone with a 6-7/8 hat size.
Comfortable to wear.This is a definite. I shredded the cord of the first one and didn't even think of looking for a different item.The sound quality is great no feed back or line noise. I have been more than pleased with this item. In fact this is the second one I have purchased.
